Resiline’s 320 pipe lining product has been given BS 6920 approval. The BS 6920 approval means that the product is suitable to be used on domestic drinking water pipes.
To achieve this approval, the product must be tested and assessed for its suitability for use on non-metallic materials which come into contact with water intended for human consumption.
The product must therefore not:
- impart odour or flavour
- cause a change in appearance (colour or turbidity)
- promote microbial growth
- leach substances harmful to human health
- leach toxic metals
Resiline 320 has met the criteria and therefore is suitable to be used for insitu or SIPP relining of domestic water pipes.
